I need a an eye exam. Where can I see you?
We travel the state conducting mobile eye care clinics on-site. We base out of Anchorage where we store equipment, inventory, and of course make our lenses, but do not currently conduct exams there. Subscribe to our email list to stay informed on when we will be conducting a clinic nearby.

Why does my Medicaid glasses order take so long?
Unfortunately, we do not make Medicaid glasses. The state uses an outside lab in the lower 48 where shipping can delay orders significantly. All we can do is place the order and wait. Once the order is sent to us, we repackage and ship to you usually within one business day.

How many pairs can I receive from Medicaid?
Medicaid's rules have recently changed. Adults age 21 and older are allowed one pair every two calendar years. Children are still allowed one pair every calendar year. Adults and children are allowed an eye exam every year.

Do you do COD?
We do not currently do COD due to the customized nature of prescription lenses. However, we can put an order on hold until you are ready to complete payment.

Does lens quality make a difference?
Of course it does. Free-form, digitally surfaced lenses (the only lenses we produce in our lab) offer superior optics through wider fields of view, clearer images edge to edge, less distortions, and more comfortable vision far and up close.

How long do glasses take to make?
Glasses made in our lab can ship as early as next day in some cases. Generally, all orders are complete in under one week. Our lab uses state-of-the-art digital surfacing equipment recognized worldwide. We are the only lab in Alaska with this kind of equipment!

Can I track my order ?
Yes! All orders receive a USPS tracking number once shipped. If you have not received one yet, please reach out.

What if my glasses broke?
All our frames are warranted for one year against breakage due to defects. Unfortunately that doesn't include running them over with a snowmachine! However, we will work with you to get a replacement frame as quickly and affordably as we can.

Do you price match?
Absolutely, within reason. If you find a better price online for the same product, we will do our best to match that price. We do our best to keep prices as low as possible. And remember, our lenses are not like what you get from the online only suspects. Ours are some of the best quality lenses in the world.

Can I pick my glasses up in person?
Most of our pairs are mailed out to the villages, but If you find yourself in Anchorage and need a new pair, we can often arrange a pickup time. Just give us a call to schedule.
